Inspired by a static poster created by Sticky Monster Lab, I brought one determined little character to life in an animated short story. I recreated the poster's existing visual assets and then used them as guides when illustrating new ones as needed to carry out the scenes in my storyboard.

The original poster features Sticky Monster Lab's signature character design. Here, the subject looks to be embarking on an exciting trip or event, so I decided to build upon this idea when brainstorming a plot for my animation. My goal was to create an endearing mix of silliness and drama by incorporating themes of insecurity and imposter syndrome, but also messages of hope and perseverance.
