This is a collection of designs I’ve created for various commissions! These include work for school, freelance projects, requests from family and friends, and a few pieces I made just for fun.
EXHIBITION POSTERS
I designed these posters for the two exhibitions I participated in during my senior year at ASU. In the fall semester, we hosted a poster auction where we sold posters that were designed by different people and studios all around the world. To represent the idea of diversity in design and in this exhibition, specifically, I came up with the concept, "Poster Puzzle". I went with a neutral, modern design to let the bold collection of posters stand out on their own.
I designed this poster Hands-On for my social issue capstone exhibition. Our class was challenged to create a concept that merged the theme of social issues with our collective purpose as designers. One requirement was to include every student's name, with the option to add our exhibit titles as well. I created a typographic design that embedded the names and titles within the letters of "hands-on," splitting the forms boldly while still maintaining their overall shape. This visual approach symbolizes the need for direct intervention and digging into the root causes of social issues. The phrase "hands-on" serves as a double entendre—reflecting both our active approach to social change and our physical design process.
logo & business cards
For one commission, I was asked to design a logo and business cards for a residential appraisal business based in southern Arizona. While many appraiser logos rely solely on house imagery, I aimed to create something more distinctive by highlighting the elements that were unique to this brand. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape, I chose a deep purple to reflect the mountains as they appear backlit by the valley's iconic, vibrant sunsets. I also incorporated an upward arrow to reference the data-driven nature of appraisal work and to clearly differentiate the brand from real estate or other related industries.
digital illustrations
I love to draw as a hobby, so I've had some fun opportunities to turn my drawings into assets that can be transformed for many different materials! Most of the stickers I've designed have been requests by friends of mine, but I've also indulged in a few projects that are just for fun.
